The mission project that has excited us the most is our ministry to the homeless.

Because the need is so great and in some instances in and around our own communities, it has become a passion of the congregation to do as much as we can. It is by far the mission that gets the most participation. We host an overflow shelter on Sunday evenings during portions of the winter months, we participate in a family shelter at a neighboring church during portions of the summer months, and we collect food and money for the local food banks at many times during the year.
