We participate every year

in an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service shared by area Churches. There are 4 Churches, 2 synagogues & 2 Catholic Churches that come together to share one service together.

Our Church is very active in helping care for the Bergen County Homeless Shelters. We have been caring for 8 to 10 men and women during December and January on Sunday evenings. These people come to us from Hackensack at about 7:00pm in the evening and we provide a hot dinner, television, games, books and conversation, if they like. They sleep on County provided folding beds in our Fellowship Hall. In the morning we offer them breakfast and bag lunches for the day. Area Clergy Luncheons rotate between the Churches. It is a time for them to discuss problems and share ideas. Each Church takes a turn hosting a luncheon.

Mutuality is the key
word to describe how clergy and lay leaders work well together in our Church. There is an abundance of strong lay leadership, able and ready to be involved in ministry centered around mission, education, outreach, fundraising, worship, fellowship and pastor care.
