Music is an important part of our worship service and we are blessed to be surrounded by many talented members and our staff – Patricio Molina, Music Director, and Joyce Aitken, Director of the Valley Ringers, a handbell choir.
The music program encompasses a variety of music from traditional to contemporary, enhanced by our Möeller pipe organ and by the recent addition of a Baby Grand Piano, generously donated by a few of our members. The Adult Choir sings at each Sunday morning worship service. Many adult and youth instrumentalists in the congregation also lend their impressive talents at special services.

During special services, the choir may be joined by professional vocalists and instrumentalists.
The choir practices every Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm upstairs in the choir room, September through June.

The Valley Ringers of the First Congregational Church in Park Ridge is more than three decades old in which generations of families and friends have worked together to make music for the worship of God and for service to the community. Under the direction of Joyce Aitken, the Valley Ringers have performed in a variety of venues, including nursing homes, music festivals, landmarks and the churches. The 4 ½ octave, 10 member handbell choir is rich in its diversity, whether it is in the age of its members or the repertoire selection, the Valley Ringers encompasses youth and experience that together harmonize the music of artists from Bach to Lady Gaga. The Valley Ringers offer an Introit or an Anthem to the Community of the First Congregational Church every third Sunday of the month. They will also offer their talents and work on a Christmas event at Lambert Castle, one of the most beautiful landmarks in our area. You are welcome to go and enjoy once again the Valley Ringers perform Christmas music in the seasonally decorated Castle on December 20th.
